QRCENTRAL
Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 6, 2026

This policy explains how ALUMNI INTERACTIVE LLC and the services used by QR Central handle information. QR code creation happens on your device. The free app also uses Google's advertising and consent services; those services may process information as described below.

1. QR Codes, History, and Photos

QR Central generates QR codes on your device. Encoded text and URLs, QR history, custom logos, and design preferences are stored or processed locally and are not uploaded to an ALUMNI INTERACTIVE server by the app. You can delete QR history in the app. If you choose to save or share a QR image, the destination you select handles that image under its own policies.

Photo access is used to select a logo or save a generated image. Device backups and photo synchronization are controlled by your Apple settings.

2. Advertising and Tracking Choices

The free version includes Google AdMob banner and interstitial advertising. Google's advertising services may process device identifiers, IP addresses, advertising interactions, usage information, and diagnostic information for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention, and other purposes described in Google's Privacy Policy. An IP address may be used to infer a general location. QR code content is not supplied as an advertising parameter by QR Central.

In the updated app, QR Central requests any required regional consent through Google's User Messaging Platform and requests Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission before initializing the advertising SDK or requesting ads. Tracking-based advertising is enabled only when you authorize tracking and the consent service permits ad requests. If tracking is denied or restricted, the updated app does not request ads; QR creation remains available. Premium subscribers do not receive ad requests after their subscription status has been verified.

When required, Settings → Advertising Privacy Options lets you revisit regional advertising consent. Apple's tracking permission can be changed in iOS Settings. Consent requests themselves communicate with Google's consent service, which may process device and network information needed to determine and record applicable choices. A consent choice does not prevent processing required to deliver the consent service.

These controls apply to the updated release. Older installed versions may behave differently; keep QR Central up to date.

3. Purchases and Subscriptions

Optional monthly and annual subscriptions are processed by Apple. QR Central uses StoreKit to verify subscription entitlements and restore purchases. We do not receive your payment card details. Apple may provide developers with transaction and sales information through its services. See Apple's Privacy Policy.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through your Apple account. Manage or cancel them in your App Store subscription settings. Use of the app is governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement.

4. Support, Retention, and Your Choices

If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to include and use it to respond. Avoid sending confidential QR code content or payment details. Local app data remains on your device until you delete it or remove the app, subject to your device's backup settings. Advertising and consent service data is retained according to the applicable provider's policies.

You may contact us with privacy questions or requests. Rights available to you depend on your location and the information involved. For information processed directly by Google or Apple, their privacy policies describe available controls and request methods.

5. Children and Policy Changes

QR Central is a general-purpose QR utility and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us. We update this page when our practices change and identify the revision date above.
